At times it is not possible to get to the gathering to farewell someone.
We have the technology in place that can allow you to participate in the farewell.

You may want to give a tribute to the person, provide music, photos, slide shows, read a poem, scripture or prayer.

There are many things you can provide for a meaningful farewell.

Mobile Devices


Mobile devices, phones and tablets, are a great way to record a video clip for the funeral service.


There are a five things to think of when you are recording:

The easiest way to get video clips to us from a mobile device is to use the WeTransfer service.


Follow these instructions or have a look at this video .


Send it through to office@gillions.co.nz along with any instructions. Once we get it we can edit it for you if you want any changes.

Desktop devices


Those who wish to attend but cannot due to the response to COVID-19  can still provide a recorded tribute or other content for the farewell.

If you are sending video, PowerPoint files or a lot of pictures from a PC or laptop use our Hightail file transfer account.
