This enabled me to "attend" the funeral of my sister, even though I was in Scotland. 

I was very impressed by the quality of the filming and editing. I had imagined one fixed camera, but no - there were different angles, with natural changes of view. 

I especially appreciated the lobby view ahead of the service; seeing everyone arrive and greet each other was very moving.

My partner passed away during level 3 lockdown so we had a memorial 3 months later.

I am so grateful for the support that the staff at Gillions provided me. I became increasingly anxious and felt pressured by the thought of the memorial coming up. The staff were so supportive and reassuring and I was able to hand everything over to them.  I felt very supported.

From the very first time I rang and talked to the staff, I felt warmth and support. I felt listened to and respected.

Any question we had as a family was answered promptly and supportive other ideas were proposed that we had not considered. 

They covered all aspects of remembrance of my beloved partner Geoff including keepsakes such as finger imprints, live streaming of the funeral service to a high standard, printing of funeral booklets, newspaper announcements and more. 

It is more than just 'a business' to all the staff and I will never forget their humane sincere kindness and continued willingness to help, including keeping cremated ashes until we select 'just the right' urn/container. I cannot recommend them enough to others and will do so from now on.

You were totally amazing, yes it's your job I know, but you went over and beyond, you listened to what I wanted and didn't want.  

Your level of compassion blew me away.
