When you arrive at our offices you will find our friendly relaxed environment is designed to put you at your ease.

Our facilities on Hillside Road allow us to provide space for small intimate farewells through to large public gatherings.

The Chapel

The chapel sits approximately 180 people. The nature of the seating means that we can easily create space for wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

We have a modern electric organ as well as space on the  raised platform to include live music.

Multiple cameras allow for coverage of the farewell.

The Carisbrook Room

The Carisbrook room provides a smaller space that allows for up to 30 people.
It is suited to gatherings where the attendees have been identified.
This area also allows for multi-camera live streaming.

The Family Room

If there is only going to be a few people coming to say their farewells, the family room provides a comfortable space for this to happen.

Should light refreshments be desired these will be set up in the foyer.

The Canopy

We have a covered area for the hearse so that the final farewell is not overly affected by the weather.
It provides covered access to the lounge should there be  refreshments.
In the case of large funerals the incorporated  audio/video system provides a coverage feed from the Chapel.

The Lounge

Normally the lounge is used for a refreshments after a farewell.
Should a memorial gathering be desired, the lounge can also be used for both the farewell and refreshments.
In cases were there is an overflow from the chapel  this space also has full audio/visual coverage.

Facilities for all

Our level access, wide doorways, and accessible toilets make Gillions ideal for those with mobility issues. Our wheelchair is available for use on request.

Our chapel has hearing loop technology installed for those with  T-loop hearing aids.

Children are very welcome at services - we have books and toys  in our family room which provides a quiet space when needed. For infants, we have a change table.
