Being locally owned and operated we are part of the Dunedin community.
This involves supporting different groups and events.
Our candle lighting service was well attended last year, and the new format worked well.
2024 PET MEMORIAL
Grieving for a pet can be more profound than grieving for a human.
It is the loss of a non-judgmental source of love. The parent, who has nurtured and
loved the pet, maybe inconsolable.
This is especially true for elders, single people or childless couples whose pets served as the main focus of their lives.
Gillions has been providing a time and space for you to grieve your pet for the last 5 years.
Please join us on Sunday 6th October, 2 pm in our chapel where you can pay homage to the love your pets gave you.
To have a photo included in the photograph memorial, please email pets@gillions.co.nz
Join us for light refreshments afterward, so please RSVP via email or phone 03 455 2128.
The service will be live streamed at www.gillions.co.nz/kereru-channel for those who are unable to attend.
This year we are proud supporters of Pet Refuge. They provide safety and love for pets while their owners, who are in a family violence situation, find a safe place to live.
Donations can be made
here or left at the service.
