Grief is a deeply personal journey, influenced by past experiences and the circumstances of loss. When a death is sudden, for instance, grief can feel more complex and harder to navigate than when the death was expected. While many find their own path through grief, others may require additional support
At Gillions, we offer bereavement support as a complimentary service for the families we care for. In partnership with The Grief Centre, we ensure you and your family receive the best care. A letter will be sent outlining the service, followed by a call from the Bereavement Support Team approximately 6-8 weeks after the funeral. The team can provide support throughout the year and offer helpful resources, including brochures and booklets on grief and loss. The bereavement support worker will be there to listen and provide further assistance if needed. At Gillions, our care continues beyond the funeral, ensuring you receive the support you need.
